The History of Sedlock Construction
One of the owners of Sedlock Construction has 30+ years of experience in exterior work, including roofing, siding, and windows. Sedlock Construction has also been in business for over 20 years, proudly serving homeowners with a focus on quality craftsmanship and honest service.
While our primary focus is roofing, siding, and windows, we also value helping homeowners find the right people for the job. When a project falls outside of our main services, we are happy to provide referrals to trusted professionals who will treat homeowners fairly and deliver quality work. We would only want the best working on our own home, and we believe others in our community deserve the same.
Jason and Carmen, the owners of Sedlock Inc., are a married couple who run the company together, overseeing sales, marketing, management, accounting, customer service, operations, and job coordination. Jason works directly on job sites, provides bids, and manages day-to-day operations, while Carmen handles accounting and customer service. Sedlock Inc. is also supported by a reliable team of workers, many of whom have been with the company for several years and understand the high standards expected on every job.
A More Personal Look at the Owners
The couple has been together for over 20 years; they have 3 daughters and have spent most of their lives here in the Quad Cities.
Jason Sedlock has worked for many years doing work for nearly every large company based out of the Quad Cities area. Jason is your average all-American guy who works hard for his family. He's a regular attendee at a local church. He is also dedicated to providing quality work at an affordable price and being the type of contractor he would personally work with. He is a true expert in the field.
Carmen Sedlock graduated from Western Illinois University with a BA in General Studies with an emphasis in Psychology, Sociology, and Business Management. Later, she graduated from the University of Iowa with a Master's degree in Social Work. She currently holds a license in social work for both Illinois & Iowa. Her previous employment includes: residential counselor at "Annie Wittenmyer" and as a crisis interventionist for "The Center for Youth and Family Solutions". She advocates for families, people with disabilities, and those recovering from addictions. Carmen is a proud committee member of The American Foundation of Suicide Prevention as well as a Henry County Precinct Committeeman for District 5. Carmen is also a regular attendee of her local church. She is also the first to help someone in need and to donate her time and money for a good cause. Whenever given the opportunity, Carmen periodically speaks to diverse audiences regarding personal struggles and is currently mentoring women in the Scott County's Safer Foundation "Circle of Support" program.
What matters most to this couple is that people get what they are wanting and paying for. Even more important is that they don't pay more than they should. Sedlock Inc. wants to be a company that helps individuals and families.
